Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hey,
Im 16 and Im just really getting into photography so I was hoping maybe somebody could help out..

I have a Nikon D70s and I was looking to buy an 80-200 mm lens.. The owner says that the lens will fit a "46mm camera". :(

Any idea if it would fit the D70s?

Thanks,
Max

any help is much appreciated!

what type of attachment would i need?

non its a F-Mount lens Full Frame hence the 36 mm but it will work on your D70s. The AF-D and the AF-S version both will work.

All nikon slr lenses will fit your camera (with only a few VERY RARE exceptions).

If it's a manual focus lens then it will fit, but you won't get any metering information.

Virtually any Nikon lens made since 1959 will mount on your D70s.

However, counting out of production lenses, there are 5 different 80-200 mm Nikon lenses available that will range in price from $1100 to $50.

Three of them are f/2.8. Current new production is the AF 80-200 f/2.8D ($1100 new, about $850 for a nice used example).

The AF-S 80-200 f/2.8D (no longer in production (1999-2004), about $1000 used)

The AF 80-200 f/2.8 (older (1988-1992)( push-pull zoom about $650 for a good used one)

One is an f/4 (1969-1977) and one is a f/4.5-5.6 (1995-1999)

Here's some history for you and I think Ken has review pages for each lens.
