    Hi
Hope some kind student of this fine art can help me out with this as i am getting a bit confused with it all
If i was using a lens with a maximum magnification of 0.65 whilst photographing an object of 50 mm in length what would be the maximum size the object will appear on my film ?
Is there a standard equation to calulate this ?
Any help at all would be great
    BIG THANKS TO YOU ALL
    GUS

It depends how close your camera is to the object! And that is defined by what lens you are using, the x0.65 suggests a wide angle lens of 32mm but I don’t know the Field Of View of your lens so even if I could count I’d be unsure what the answer is..

It might be better if you explain what you’re doing, unless it’s top secret, your question kind of reminds me of those trick questions like “How many letters are there in the post box”

    cheers
