:blushing: Okay this is my latest one. I was playing around with this black background (which is actually just a sheet). And by no means do I think I am good but this is good to me. Go easy on me, what do you all think.

This one is my favorite cause it is my daughter with her favorite dog and I thought it came out okay.

For future reference, keep it to one image in the critique forum please.

The first one; very cute, that's for sure. The light is flat though...it's coming from the camera angle. If you can get the light away from the camera...it will look a lot better. Also, the top of the head/hair is getting lost in the dark background. If you are using a dark background like this...you may need a hair light to accent the head and separate it from the background.

The 2nd shot; It's too centred. Holding my hand up to the screen, I cut off the right side and part of the bottom. This way, they are heading toward the middle of the image...it looks much better that way, IMO.

i would have said the same too. that dark spot in the top left is kind of distracting also. if it were at all possible, clone it out or something. but other than that, i would add just a bit of higher contrast so that the greys dont all look neutral.

I really like the second one, its a nice idea, but I would crop it quite alot. nice photo, but I dont really like the shadow from the car in the top.

Thanks for the input and yes I know the shadow from the truck is a problem but I didn't crop anything to see what you all said.

Actually two would have been better verticle there is no reason to include all the uninteresting concrete on either side at all. Just my opinion.
