    These two shots were taken for my 26 Things submission. Opinions on the motion captured in the first, and the DOF in the second (in short, whether they work or not).

    i'll go at what you asked:

    the dof in #2 is spot on for my taste.

    it feels to me like you captured a 'moment' rather than true motion. small amounts of blur can be misleading and don't always lead the viewer to 'motion'. try a longer shutter speed using a nd filter if you need to do so or increase the bass to the speakers :)
