I don't much care for zoos, but I go every now and then with my daughter.

This fine fellow, is always asleep. Never does more than lay there snoozing.

Until this past Sunday. He woke up, looked at me for a long time (I took 30 or so photos) and when I moved away to let others have my spot, he promptly laid down again.

Go figure.

Other than the fact that you cut his ears off and it has some blown out areas. I like it. Very sharp and clear.

i have to agree

i would of liked to see the full head...ears being cut off take away from it, or limbs from any other photo take away, it seems the lighting may have been very harsh, but maybe if this is not the original, you could keep the ears, and crop out the blow out white on the right side, it will keep the rule of thirds in and get a very nice shot of the head and get rid of the blown area.

just crop in horizontal on the eyes. that'll make the ears thing a moot point. my wife LOVES big cats..and little cats...and kitty cats...
