I like these images, they are sharp, his eyes are in focus and the colours are nice and crisp.

I was looking at this lens the other day, I'm trying to decided if I should pick it up or keep saving for the 70-200 IS (it's going to take a little bit more saving). How are you liking it? worth getting to compliment my 17-85?

You already said was is kinda *poo* on the shots, and that is what is truely killing it. The shadows are very harsh and it draws my eyes immediately.

BUT, the lil boy is cute as can be, love his expressions.
