Heron and a Farmer's Pond of Algae

    The colours look frightfully "off", though I tend to believe that this is what they really were like when you came upon the scene, so it wasn't only the heron that attracted you, but also the turquoise of the reflected sky in the algae-free part of the lake plus the intense green of the algae-cover, am I right?

    Yes, the colors are spot on, which did attract me to the scene. The Blue Heron just happened to be there. Shot was taken with an istD and SMC Takumar 105/2.8. I cropped just a bit, and only ran a a quick fix on the colors thru PH, which came up with the natural scene. Thanks for commenting. Don A.
