I am new around here.

Just to introduce myself:
I am Kevin, a senior in HS
I am a pilot...and want to pursue aviation (There is someone here that posts some aviation pictures = you're awesome.)
I am in a photography class, which is B/W

My dad was a pro. and he gave me all his stuff...which I have tons of questions about. This includes:
Nikon FM2n
Nikon 8008
AF Nikkor 35-70 1:3.3-4.5
Nikkor 80-200mm 1:4.5
AF Nikor 50mm 1:1.4
Nikkor 85mm 1:2
Bronica Zenza ETRS
Zenzanon 75mm 1:2.8
Zenzanon MC 150mm 1:3.5

Here's my first question (I know nothing)

I wanted to buy some Velvia for the Bronica and the guy said it is color transparency film...which means? ~Just looking for some info (like pros and cons)

Color Transparency means slide film.

I think I would probably end up ruining a roll of slide, just because (especially on a new camera) I am not good enough..

I think I should stick with print.

That's cool that you've got a pilot's license. Or at least on your way to one. I've always wanted to pursue one. I've even signed up for a free sample lesson at a local flight school, and got a bunch of stuff in the mail about aviation, but never followed on after it. Maybe some day.
Anyway, sounds like you might be a good companion for Airic. He does something with aviation (not quite sure exactly what), if you couldn't tell from his name (air + eric I think) .

PS: I'm also in HS (a junior).
