Hey from West point New York!

Im new to this forum and to photography all together and don't yet have a camera...Any advice on what is a good starter camera and that isn't over 300 dollars..im on a strict budget. Thank you everyone in advance

welcome, there are many cameras to choose from but go take a look at them and pick a brand to start with. that will help narrow it down. There are some neat places to take pictures up there. I lived next to West Point for a year and a half. Personal favorite place to take pictures for me was the pond next to Morgan Farms. Esp when the trees were changing colors or the fog was rolling over the pond.

Oh yea i know where you are talking about...My sister in laws has horses up there and i would go up to morgan farms alot...But thank you
