Hi Everyone!
I'm from the UK but will be moving to the US in May (Pittsburgh), I like photography a lot but I think I lack the knowledge of how to compose good pictures and also what I can do with pictures on a computer to make them look good. I am however proficient with Paint Shop Pro.
I'm also fascinated by filters and always wonder how certain effects in pictures are done, although I have never bought filters or used them before.
I have a Sony DSC-V1 which I've enjoyed using since 2004.
I haven't explored the forum completely yet, so I better have a rummage through to see if there are any good topics I can see regarding my points above...
