Hi, I'm new here, looks like a great forum and I'm looking forward to learning a bunch!
As a camera goes I have a Canon Eos Digital Rebel XT and 2 lenses:
Canon EFS 18-55mm
Tamron AF70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2
My experience is VERY minimal, I've had the camera for about 6 months and the Tamron lens for about 1 week. Mostly I've used the camera on Auto so my goal is to start experimenting with different setting.
As a start, we're going to the first NASCAR event in Canada (Busch series) next week and I was thinking of using the 70-300 lens. What would be the best setting for taking pics of cars flying by? ISO? F stop? Shutter? etc.
Should I use the sports mode?
Thanks in advance!
