Hi. I'm new to photography and I've purchased a cheap camera for starters.

even it says its AF its still has the manual focus functions, am I right?
I just wanted to make sure I bought the right one.

On that lens, make sure you flick the switch on the lens to MF first, or you can ruin the motor.
