Hi. My name is Kari and I have just recently decided to take photography more seriously..I have always enjoyed taking pictures...mainly for the memories they create. I had my first baby (a son) in Feb. of this year and ever since then I have been wanting to take my photography skills to the next level. I am pretty much a newbie to it all so I am hoping to learn a lot here! I have a Canon PowerShot A 620 right now..am hoping to master this and then move on to the SLR.

I have seen your pics taken of your son, with the Powershot, and I think they are quite good (!) little cameras (I have one, too, and it has never disappointed me!).
