does the bridge overpower the ruins?
does your opinion of the photo change when you learn this image was put together from two different images in photoshop?
should I tell how the image was made or just present it?

I agree with Raindog.

However its good to see you've taken the trouble to reduce the aperture so that all is in focus

I didn't know that it was two photos. Hmm. I think it's kinda cool. I do think the bridge part is a little much though. I still like it.

Nice image.

the biggest give away for the two images is that you have very harsh - sunlight shadows on the bridge and softer cloudy weather shadows on the ruins. also alight blue cast on ruins when compared to white balance of bridge.

Suggestions if I may.

1 Crop the bridge to just slightly above the arc. this should take away a bit of the overpoweringness .. (something to that extent)

2 Soften the shadows on the bridge.

3. Try to cool down the bridge to match colder tone on ruins.

Any way - my .02

Still , all this said - nicely planned and envisioned.

so... if it was not a ps work I'd love the image and tell you that it is brilliant. But now?! It is just a simple picture. I hate sticking images and fake photographs. I'm with Hanno about the light. Just notice that the brisdge is in a full sun while the castle is in a shadow.
