This was my first time doing any real, on the field sports shooting so I'm pretty happy with how the shots came out overall. By the end of the night I was shooting ISO 3200 at f4 which was kind of annoying, but I think they still came out pretty nice.

Cool, I used to play both womens and mixed lacrosse at uni :) Interesting to see how much protection these players have, we didn't used to have any except maybe a mouth guard .. (apart from the GK of course who was protected from head to toe)

Yeah, my girlfriend plays on the women's team and all they wear are the cage that goes around their eyes and a mouthguard. I would be nervous not wearing gloves out there.

I like the evening ones they seem sharper.

Thanks, and towards Stock Photos: You really think so? I had to a lot more sharpening with those in post processing compared to the shots during the day, which might be why.

Great photos~~~What lens did you use? Tamron 17-50?

My 70-200 f4, the Tamron is waaaaaay to short to shoot this stuff :p . A 300 would've been quite useful, but I don't need to think about dropping that much cash for a while...
