Highlight Tone Priority

    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos NOT OK to edit
    is it possible to enable the highlight tone priority in Program mode?.......from my understanding it's only accesibile in the custom mode........oh, the camera is a canon 40d....thanks!

    the manual does not list it as a option, but i thought most everything was accessible in Program Mode? :)

    You can't use HTP at ISO 100. Try turning up the ISO to at least 200 and see if that works.

    highlight tone priority? sounds like a complicated way of spot metering and exposing for highlights..

    It actually gives you an extra stop of dynamic range.
