    Not sure if this the right place to post this or if anyone would find it as interesting as I do.

    Its a link to the U.S. Geological Survey Photographic Library. I ran across it last week, has thousands of scanned historic photos including Powells exploration of the Grand Canyon in the 1870's

    Oh Gee Thanks. Now I'll waste another day or two looking at all those old pictures. :sexywink:

    Really nice site even for someone who isn't a history buff. Old photos are interesting in themselves. The nature photographs are outstanding also.

    Just amazing what those old folks did with those big old view cameras, and the places they dragged them in to, for a picture.
