Holi (fedtival of colours)

Hello, I'm new to this forum and I'll be taking pictures at the holi festival, it's full of colours and waters,
Are there any suggestions for keeping my camera clean and safe,
Any camera setting adjustments ? Please teach me!..

There are commercial solutions to this problem, some are rather expensive ... but an easy fix is simply a plastic bag with a hole cut for the lens. Use some rubber bands for a tight fit ... that and common sense goes a long way to keep a camera dry and functioning. Typically, it will take much more water than a few drops on the case to ruin the camera. If it does get wet keep a dry cloth, (another plastic bag), handy for a quick dry-off. If the camera gets completely soaked and starts acting up ... quickly turn it off and remove the battery.
