I have a vacation coming up. We'll be going to the beach too.
I needed a new camera!
I chose the Olympus TG-4
Amazing little camera.
Tough as nails, and shoots incredible close ups.
Here's a few sample photos.

I also have a D810. I've yet to shoot with a camera that even remotely touches the images from a D810 (The Pentax 645D is close). The TG4 is good for a compact camera though.View attachment 118613

I've been eyeing one of these for those times when bringing my dslr is not really an option and also want an underwater camera for an upcoming trip that will involve lots of snorkeling. Would love to see your review on it after using it on your vacation.
I love the 810 for wildlife, you can crop a lot and still have a large image. I am disappointed in the movie mode however.I also have a D810. My GF and I will be taking our D810s along too because she shoots for Getty and she wants to get some stock images and I'm trading a shoot for accommodations. But for hanging out and snorkeling I can't wait to use my TG4.I love the 810 for wildlife, you can crop a lot and still have a large image.
