    New Camera/Equipment Case

I thought I'd share. I saved a ton of money by converting a typical rolling suitcase into a camera bag. For a LOT LESS than this, or this. Mine is made by Wenger.

I broke down and bought some Pelican Padded Dividers. I lined the inside of the case with some Memory Foam that I got free from work. (It was a returned item we were throwing away for credit).

Anyway, there's no way I could spend $300 or more on a camera case. You could buy your own bag for about $50 to $80 and order your own padded dividers. Just be sure and measure the inside of your bag to get the correct size.

First I unzipped the liner and zipp tied a layer of foam aroung the retractable handle:

    One more layer of foam:

It's not Fort Knox, but it even has a lock:

Nice. Reminds me of what I did a long time ago for My telescope Equipment.
    Looks Good.
