Homework assignment

This is something I created for a class I'm taking. Taken with Pentax K100D and Pentax-A 50mm f/2.0. I used a Cactus V2 trigger so my flash could be set on the left of the shot. Text and frame were added using Photoshop CS2.

This was for a photography class, but the assignment was to create a product or advertisment shot. This was actually my favorite assignment from the class.

The lighting is great and the camera looks good...but the gun is too out of focus and the bottle (or whatever) behind the camera is OOF and obscured, so is more of a distraction than anything.
IMO anyway.

IMO anyway.

Both the gun and the whiskey bottle are suppose to be out of focus. Your attention should be on the camera - the shot was to create an add for the camera. The gun and the whiskey are other things you can take a shot with, but you should use the Polaroid for your shot instead.
