So please tell us at last what was going on, how did you come about the photos of the fire in the street (there's more fire to be seen here, too), of the fireworks, of the men on horseback, of the horses? What was the festival?

This is an attractive picture. Like Archangel, I'm thinking a tighter crop might enhance the overall intensity here. I only regret the fact that the horse wasn't slightly more to the right.
