Nice composition and colors except it seems to be cut in half--or almost cut in half.

Sharpened yes. But only a smidgen. I like it that way. Maybe it's a phase.

And cut in half....no. This is the way I took it. No cropping whatsoever.

I think Rere might have got an incomplete image load (ie only half loaded) for some reason - ergo the cut in half feeling.

Certainly the shot does not look cuttup; I like the composition and the fact that you have the attention of the horses. Its perhapse a little dark in the shadows, but the highlights are well controled - and the lightly darker look has what I feel is a more filmy look than digital. I would try a little bit of selective brightening on the darks, but not too much.
