    The focus is off, but I take it this was a tricky pic to get? Try to get the focus right on their face.

    more specifically, the eye. This is where choosing a different focus point than dead center comes in handy.

    On second look, That wing is really drawing my eye. I try to look dead center or even at the face and my eye goes back to the focused part of the wing. It's eerie like that.

    Maybe see if you can get a re-shoot? If it's local. Sometimes I park my butt out in the back yard and get pics of the birds at the feeders.

    it was the last of the baby birds in the nest, which was located hanging from a porch in a hanging swinging fern plant... so with one hand I has moving the ferns away from the front view as well as holding the basket steady while standing in a rocking chair...lol I'd love to be able to reshoot, and planned to the next day but the little fella left the nest...lol thanks for the response and help getting the photo on here ;)
