Not a great day for light, but I did get some flight shots of these amazing Trumpeters... Some day, i will get great light, and a good angle on these before they head north in Febuary.

It was about 29 deg F, 20-25 MPH winds, standing out on some rocks frezzing my a** off, and no gloves yet Airic... some guys never learn!

Thanks for looking!

Some guys just never learn :) Go get some gloves and a hat and some boots. It is much more comfortable then freezing your a**off. I sure would like to go back and get another crack at those Swans. Maybe next weekend. You did a great job.

Eric

great shots!!! the last three really caught my eye!!

A film!
This is almost a film.
Cool series of their launch into ... the air. Wow.

What a fantastic series! 7 & 8 are my favorites!

Great take-off sequence! Like you say, the light was not your friend, but even so I like the light in #9,10 & 11

"Junk"? "JUNK"?

You must be KIDDING!!!!

Look at my ""Woodpecker" and you see what "average" (or let's call it: bad) bird photography is like!

"Junk" *walking away shaking head in utter disbelief!*
