how can i tell if my fisheye is the american model?

    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos NOT OK to edit
    its a nikon 10.5 fisheye how can i tell if its the american model

    I don't think any Nikon lenses are made in America.

    Or...are you asking if it was imported by Nikon USA vs being imported on the 'grey market'?
    You might be able to track that down via the serial number...but why? There would be no physical differences. The only tangible difference would be whether or not Nikon USA honors the warranty (during the warranty period, of course).

    And the warrenty details would be written on the warrenty card that you get with the lens itself so that should tell you the source if its a new purchase of a second hand one that came with the full package contents.
