How can I use a sb700 with a d300 wirelessly?

cant seem to trigger the flash with the camera. its on ttl and cant find it in the camera.

any ideas?

I use them with my pocketwizards quite a bit...

what are you trying to do, and how do you have it currently setup?

Thanks for the info, but for some reason I wasnt able to get it working. Am I able to do it without a transmitter?

Go into the menu and change the flash mode to Commander. Then set your flash to remote. Make sure it is on the right channel. I have both the SB700 and D300 and it works like a charm.

you can also always set your flash to SU-4, in which case its optical sensor will trigger flash (in manual mode) whenever it detects another flash. it is inelegant, but it works.
