I'm new to the forum world, also a beginner in photography. This is all so new to me.
Post some pictures, let us critique them and offer suggestions. Look at other peoples' work, find what you like about them and what makes them good photos.
Hi and Welcome!
Welcome!! ...Just dive right in, and start reading threads...and looking at some of the wonderful photos here. Have fun!!
I'm new to the forum too and hope to gain some useful knowledge by viewing other people's photos and learning how to improve mine. I haven't really posted anything for critique yet as I know I'm full of flaws.
I would say, the best way to get the most out of this forum is to read, research, and respond. There are some really talented people here and they seem very helpful.
Welcome both of you. I too was new to photography and this forum a few months ago and have learned a great deal by reading threads and posting pictures.
First off, I would suggest reading up on photography to learn to shoot in Manual mode. Stay away from the pre-programmed modes. Once you understand how they work (even if your pics aren't the best) then you have a solid foundation.
Read through the threads where others ask for C&C. Read what opinions people give and see if you thought the same thing, or try and understand why they are saying what they are saying.
Practice with your camera...alot. When you have stuff you like, post them up. Make sure you only put up 3-4 per post.
Get involved. Read alot. Ask questions.
What they say...
Read, read, read. Have questions? Use the search function first because 9 times out of 10 it's been asked before and you can find the answer if you search.
