Just wondering, how exactly does processed E6 film get handled? Should I wear gloves when handling them, or is it ok to use fingers?

You handle it the same as all film - very carefully.
If you are using any processing system with a film reel you only should be touching the leader and the tail anyway.
Hands/fingers - like all parts of the body - secrete oils which will contaminate the film and prevent the chemicals reaching the emulsion. You can also get other contaminants on your fingers too, and they can cause similar problems.
If you must handle film hold it by the edges.

Hi Keller, I must have processed thousands of rolls of E6 prior to going Digital, and never wore gloves. As long as your hands are very clean and you don't have sweaty or oily skin. Go to it Keller. Philip.
