Hello.

I have a Canon AE-1 (film, old 70's camera), that includes:
200mm Canon lense
70-210mm Vivitar 1 lense
Canon 50mm lense
Canon 155a speedlite
Toshiba ES-30G flashgun
and a leather carrying bag.

How much do you guys (& gals!) think it's worth?
I'm thinkin $200 Canadian at the most. Although that might be a bit much? I personally have no clue. I'm thinking of buying a new D50 and want to lower the price a bit heh. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

If you were to buy all that stuff in a used camera shop...then you might expect to pay around $200...but I think you would have a hard time getting someone to pay you $100 for it.

yeah I was kinda figuring that. ah well. It's too good to just trade for a memory stick.

www.mpex.com (Midwest Photo Supply in Columbus, Ohio) may have some listed. There are also a couple of other respectable companies that are listed in Shutterbug.

Mike is right on the money... I was lucky when I sold my AE-1 with 5 lenses and misc gear... I ended up selling it for $100... and it had been up for sale for quite some time... the best time TO sell is right now though... with all the kids going back to school and taking photo courses which require a full manual camera...
