How to Add Purple Fringing

Hi I hope you are all well.

I think purple fringing can be very beautiful and was wondering what were the best ways to go about achieving it, without having to buy a crappy lens (or maybe that is the best way). Is there any way to achieve add it in the edit?

Do you know what the best crappy lenses might be--earlier or newer lenses? Although I imagine it just depends.

A really cheap teleconverter may do the trick. Even the good ones add CA to photos

Crappy lenses are timeless - they are made now, always have been, and always will be.

You might be able to make your own crappy lens by taking any coatings off the glass of a less-than-fair lens with some steel wool.
