How to modify a Photoshop action?

PhotoShop CC 2014

I have a rather complex action that I've downloaded from the Internet, and I'd like to modify it to move all the layers it creates into a layer group. Is there an easy way to do this?

I know how to create actions, and I know how to edit existing steps of an action, but how to add new steps eludes me....
