Hey everybody, my name is Johnathan, and I'm brand new to photography. I have had an obsession with photographing things with my digital point and shoot for some time now. Here is a picture for reference:
I know it's not great, but like I said, it was a [relatively cheap] digicam.
Well, last week, I was given a Pentax K1000. I am totally in love with SLRs now. My first couple rolls of film have been disasters, but I am improving with each roll. With the camera, I also got a 50mm f/2.8 and a 70-200mm f/5.6 lens. I like the 50mm a lot.
Anyway, Just thought I'd say hi. Love the forum. This place is filled with great information!
