Howdy from west Texas

Hello folks, a hobbyist photographer here. Bought my first dslr (Canon T3) several years ago and was instantly hooked. Upgraded to a Canon 60D and added a few lenses and other goodies. I'm a noob and I know it. Luckily I have a friend that's a great photographer and has been a huge help.
I ride a motorcycle and see a lot of beautiful things and I try to capture those moments. Sometimes I'm successful and other times its a horrible failure. I try to shoot in manual mode most of the time to force myself to learn rather than have the camera do it for me.
There is so much information and gadgets in photography that it can be overwhelming. So here I am, hoping to absorb some of the vast knowledge in this forum

I hope those horrible failures aren't because you're riding your motorcycle while taking those pictures in manual mode
