    Hey y'all
Am a very very very amateur weekend snapper who stumbled across this forum for tips and hints to improve my technique without resorting to Photoshop or other tools - I'm sure it's doable, lord knows how!

Also, I took part in Shoot London recently (http://www.shootexperience.com), and I'm desperate to win something at the next one in Clerkenwell because I'm ridiculously competitive ;-P

Hi there, from the other side of the pond. Welcome to the forum:) :)

My advice, (worth about .02 Cents, US), is relax and just keep shooting. Don't put a lot of pressure on yourself to 'win'. That is a distraction from doing your best work.

Welcome to TPF. I have to echo what digital flower pictures said there. Don't put the pressure on yourself; go out and shoot and concentrate on what you are doing there.
