These are my first try with my new lights. I know they need work, but for my first try I don't think I did to bad. What do you think?
 
Careful for highlight (cheeks, nose), other than that, I see nothing wrong
 
Blown highlights in the second pic. Other than that they look fine.

Just out of curiosity, are those actual backdrops or are you doing them digitally?
 
Looks to me like he's cutting out using the Magic Wand, then again he just wants to know how the lighting is. H
 
you need a diffuser on your flash. It will get rid of the blown out parts and equalize it from harsh shadows on the face
 
It all looks a little flat to me. Were you shooting with flash on the camera?

The exposures were a little high, but ok. The photoshop work was a little obvious on the fake backgrounds (chromakey highlights in the hair and one nice green spot in the first pic give it away... lol).

You have a great subject!
 
At first glance they all look good but after a little looking you can see the hair transistion is pretty bad....




Not that i could do half as good as this:thumbup:
