This one is a Mango Humming Bird (I think)

They were obviously very tame and would land on your fingers to feed. It was pretty cool to have them buzzing in your face, you could even feel the breeze from their wings!

The background is pretty dark in these last two but I only had two angles to choose from and they were basically the same.

How fast was your shutter speed to get their wings to stop?? Nice pictures, they are truly beautiful birds.

I was using Kodak Gold 400.
The camera was on shutter priority and set at 1/300.
The lense was a 80-200mm zoom and I believe it was pretty much out at 200mm

How amazing that must have been, to be able to have these birds that are so exotic and wild perch on your hand like that. Wow! Our local hummingbirds are shy little creatures that dart away quickly if you get within 5 feet of them.

Nice capture of a very cool moment! :D
