Gosh these are tough little birds to catch on camera.. Well for me.. The slightest movememnt, they fly off.. WIth my kids being loud from inside they kept looking around to see what was going on before settling down to sip the nector..

Will try again today They love my feeder

Good luck. They are indeed tough little things to capture. But if they like your feeder, you'll have plenty of opportunity.

keep at it, you'll get 'em... i had pretty good luck using a tripod & cable release so i could stand back a bit, and used a flash to help stop the wings down... [post=28064]Hummingbirds[/post] & [post=27447]Hummingbird[/post]

now i can relate to this shot. ive loads just like it only mine dont have anything as nice as a hummingbird. cant wait till you 'nail it'
