Pet Portraits

A day at the local Vet's Open Day doing pet portraits as the owners watched for charity.

As well as a good few of the young owners watching the "magic" as their picture appeared on the screen and then out of the printer.

Duplicate - desaturate-duplicate again -invert - in layers colour dodge (goes white). either gaussian blur or minimum filter (line drawing) - flatten image - darken to taste in levels. erase background. History brush about 20-30% in hard or vivid light and sometimes a light touch of normal 15% to finish. Have fun!

I have the process set as an action as far as flattening the image so i can produce these in 3-4-minutes from taking the photo to an A4 print on plain paper or card whilst they watch. Great for the kids.
