I broke down and bought the D300.

This was shot at ISO 3200. I'm totally blown away!

Sheesh, a lot of people are going for the D300, or have already gone for it. I love to see it. I love my D300.

I himmed and hawed for like a month, I was going to wait until the next version. I figure they pretty much reinvented the wheel with the d300 so the next version will probably just have some minor tweaks...at least that what I hope!

For your next trick, try this...

Set it at the highest of the high ISO settings, and click it over to monochrome...

It looks just like pushed processed Tri-X 400 ASA (now ISO) film. The noise in color is kind of distracting, but if you shoot it in black and white mode it is groovy!

This is my almost 4 year old canon 20D. But yes it is 3200

Mad props to the D300, its fantastic.
