In the first three, I don't even see an HDR effect, and then I still barely do in the last 3, and there is some serious oversaturation on the last two.
you dont?... look at #1 again, try taking a shot directly into the sun and see how the forground comes out
However... to the OP all i can say is yes you are getting the hang of HDR but... and its a big but, as you asked for CC you need to work on composition and subject matter, being able to create a HDR is just the very beginning, now you must learn to use it well.
Do you want C&C on the images, or on the HDR processing?
I assume you want the latter. The images look like test pictures you did just to see if you could do an HDR...
I think you did good - you didn't go way overboard like so many others do. The foreground grass in the first one looks a little un-natural (looks over saturated), but everything else looks fine to me.
Thanks for the responses so far. This was just a last minute thing, the sunset looked great so I just grabbed my P&S and went at it. These were just some test shots just so I could practice to see if I actually understood the process of HDR. Thanks.
