finding another angle of shooting the monument when....
Is this your car? You have a clean, clean car then!
(If not, sorry... someone else has a clean, clean car then).
And your weather is nice!
(And I must still pm you).
Cool. Is the curving distortion due to a wide angle lens or is it because you were moving and the way a focal plane shutter works?
its prolly cuz the windshield is curvedddd
I'm amazed how sharp those reflections can be. One guy posted a reflection from the side once and it looked great. Only the windows acted as a mirror to.
Where the tree overlaps the monument (I won't comment on it ) it looks slightly odd. It's just a trick of the light, I know.
Well done Jon. Again!
Good one, you sure like that monument Keep taking pictures of it, it's interesting all the angles you find.
yes it was a reflection in the rear window of a SUV. thanks guys.
if interested, here is a site that gives a bit of history of the monument.
cruzin - i do love this monument, but my favorite is the Lincoln Memorial i have yet to take an image of it worthy of sharing. maybe one day.
My, it leans a bit to the right, no?
Here's a different view of it for you.
