There's not a whole lot to shoot around here...

...but then Verbal comes and makes some art out of nothing!

This time, my favourite is one of the colour photos, i.e. the moss covered steps leading to that back door. And it is not ONLY the green in the photo that fascinates me so (but also :D).

But I also like the symmetry in the first.

I so know what yer sayin verbal LOL it can be a challenge somedays. Just gonna make ya better in the end. Milk it to the enth degree! :D
Love the shot of the stairs.

First and last are pretty cool too! :D

Great photos. I too have found that i'm getting bored with my surroundings. I have started to shoot still life items inside now, which has proven to be just as fun. Back to your photos.....

I like them all but my favorites are the first and the fifth. They have a nice gritty feel to them.

Verbal,

I thought I saw that you live in Seattle. Am I mistaken? It's such a beautiful town...I love it there so much.

Also, Rob and LaFoto are right. You may not like it, but it's new to us, and you do amazing things with what you say is nothing.

I, personally, love looking at your pics.

BTW, I see dirty things in the last pic as well...reminds me of one of the Naked Gun movies when he says that wherever he looks he sees things that reminds him of her and the next shot is of two mounds that look surprisingly like a pair or ripe and beautiful breasts.

I guess it's like anything else: you've got to make the best of things. Nice pics.

Thank you all! I actually live an hour and a half north of Seattle, but I go there as often as I can...I LOVE it there. I live in a tiny town called Deming...full of "Native Americans" (with their bloody casino) and loggers. lol

And yeah, it kinda does look...dirty. lol, woops.

#1's beauty!
and hey, who said big towns have a lot of NICE stuff to shoot?

I did!

I could take pictures all day in Seattle and NEVER run out of subjects!

that's the places which those big cities don't have

I LOVE SEATTLE! Except...I was trying to take this shot of a big freighter in the harbor (shooting from just across the street from Pike's Place Market)...and this hobo next to me saw my camera and lunged for it. I HAVE NEVER RUN SO FAST IN MY LIFE! (or been so scared...)

Anyway...I do love it though! If you're bored there (like that would ever happen...;)) You could try shooting planes at SeaTac!

I know, it's so great there! Last time I was there I didn't have a memory card for my camera, so I could take a whopping six pictures. And I was meeting some really good online-friends for the first time and wanted pictures of that, so I only got a few decent pics. =\ But next time I go down there I'm going to take 300+ pictures
