I JUST BOUGHT A NEW........

I just bought a new camera. I just ordered it from Amazon. Here it is:

Well, I was planning on getting the S3 for Christmas but due to a mishap with my camera being put in the washing machine (no I am not Kidding) I have to get a new one sooner. So my fiance is buying me this camera as an early Christmas gift.

I went with the free shipping so its going to take up to 5-9 days till I get it.

Why did you choose the S2?

I wanted the S3 but that camera was $50 more. I did alot of research on digital cameras and felt this one best suit my needs. The only difference between the S2 and the S3 is the S3 has 1 more megapixel and the screen is 2" and the S2 is only 1.8".

This camera has is manual and auto. So I can learn as I use it but also have the option of switching back to auto.

I read tons of reviews on the internet and they were all very good. The camera got 4.5 stars on Amazon.

Anyways, I will let you know more once I actually get it since its coming in the mail.

Hi If you do change your mind switching to S3, you can check out at dell.com. They have it for $319. Anyways enjoy your new camera!

Why don't you go for an DSLR when you were ready to spend above $350. Check prices at USAphotonation.com. I don't know how much reliable they are but they are offering a brand new Nikon D50 for $379 which you can check at
