The last two pics are from Howrah Station in Calcutta. I think they celebrated their hundred year anniversary when I was there. Remnant of the British era.

PS: I didnt know which forum to post these in....

I love the gradient in the land in the first and the contrast...nice shot! wish the trees in the top right wernt so dark.

Thanks Joe. It was quite weird how the trees turned out so dark on one side and not so dark on the other. It was quite overcast when I took the pics so that could have something to do with it.

#2 is a total stand out for me!
I don't know if it's the vintage feeling or just the overall shot, but I like it

Hehe I tried an experiement with #2. If you will notice I added film grain in it. That is what makes it look a bit like that.

Would you guys say that this cropped version appears better?

Something about train photos, they just look good in B/W.
# 1 is my favorite.

very cool pics!! good job

love trains!

the grain in #2 adds much...interesting depot, and i don't mind the fence/rail.
the uphill perspective in #1 makes it!
very nice work!

#1 for me
I have some pictures like it, but the grass and old wood planks make this far superior to mine!

Thanks a lot peeps...I love trains. Trains are so...I dunno attractive to me. They make great subjects I think. I kinda want to scout out a train graveyard and take some b&w pics there.
