I Need Help With RAW files!

To add:

If you have a Canon 50D, it should have come with all the software you need to download, process, edit, and convert your RAW data..

As said, moving data is moving data...........but the receiver (program/folder) needs to be able to recognise the format, i.e., .CR2, etc.

i have a 60 gig hard drive on my labtop and another 40 gigs on a portable. Thanks everyone that posted ideas they where all a great help

i figured something out for it ....it might b my comp im getting somewhere on my bros comp which has some more memory and lightroom 2.0 but yes i got it workin thanks

I have a card reader but when i plug it in it doesnt say it has files on the card i can view the files in photoshop but when i try and save its no dice. I have lightroom any suggestions for what to do on that?

Have had several card readers which do not seem to recognize files. SO have had to copy the from the card when it is in the camera.
