This Salsify is growing next to the house.
You sure that's not a Taraxacum? Might benefit from a little more sharpening, but it's hard to tell if it's already sharpened.
hmm are you sure this isnt my yard?
the only thing I don't like is it's flat. take a flash you can move around on a cable or wirelessly and try adding subtle lighting highlights to it from different angles.
Why is this one flat?
It doesn't seem to be flat to me!? I think it sure has depth!
And you want to pull this one out?
Isn't it too pretty for being pulled?
To late now, the weed trimmer got it.
Besides, I think it has good depth. There is focus close to the camera as well as at the perimeter.
However, your idea of using a flash is something I never thought of & must try sometime. It wont be easy as my camera does not talk to these old film camera lenses - a bit of a snob don't you think.
My eye keeps being drawn to the OOF brown spot to the bottom left of the subject...
Now this was one flower you will never be able to get back
Laf Corinna, there will be more down the hill in a waste area where this one should have stayed.
Yes it is a bit distracting - nature can be a ***** sometimes.
