I'll just stick to storms. I was down in Midland, TX, shooting a friends wedding and on the way back I expirenced this nice little storm.

4. I found out that my quick release was a little loose so the camera slowly was moving down so they are a little blurry

5. This is how I feel lately.

Awwww :hug::, Chris! Why's that!?!?!?
With beautiful weather photos such as these, hm????
Come into my arms :hugs:!

So where are the wedding pics?
I'm getting more and more nervous, I am to shoot my first (and only ever!?!?!?) wedding on 14 July, but thankfully weddings in Germany are A LOT LESS formal than in the States, and the photography a lot less specialised and extra (and this bride is getting married for the third time, so there is no more saying "her biggest day in life" when it is the "third big day in life") - but I am STILL getting nervous!

There was wee bit of a storm here two nights ago (nothing that can be compared to what happened in the middle of Germany, here in the North nothing is happening stormwise just now), but my humble snaps can in no way compete with your photos here!!!

Thanks for caring. Really it's because all of my friends are getting married and I'm not married or even have a girlfriend. I suppose that's because I'm very selective, but you have to be in that case right?

I'll see... I'm not real happy with the ones that I took a look at last night. I was having trouble getting used to meter on my new camera, and I had to start bracketing just to get one that was exposed correctly. I moved to much between shots and most came out just a tad to blurry for my liking. Honestly, I hate them :(, but I'll try my best to recover some of them. I'm glad I was not paid for it, because they are not worth anything.

Can I see some of the shots?

I posted my wannabe-storm pics into the Snapshots and Bloopers for you, Chris, they aren't anything other than that (the "storm" being an absolute "blooper", since it was the total non-starter storm).

I really like your storm photography, Chris. That first one is quite striking, but my fave is #4, with the wind generator, the storm clouds, and the rain and lightning off in the distance.

(The self-port is good too! Sorry, though, to hear you're feeling in a dark mood. Things will pick up, I'm sure, so hang in there!!)

awsome !!

these are all nice, I like the first one most though

nice composition. very moody

Thats the Cauplin Volcano. I saw it twice in 6 days while chasing in that area. I recognize the road that goes around it. We must have been very close to each other on that storm. How neat.
