    These look great! what lens have you been shooting these close-ups with? I'd be surprised if it was the 18-55 DX.

    something really cool about spiders... i think they are really photogenic.
    i love macro shots of them too.

    I'm making do with my 55-200 lens...It's all I have besides the 18-55 and with the latter you have to be right on top of the subject. With all the bees and spiders I shoot....I'll use a 55-200 thank you very much! LOL

    Well, I do like this close-up!
    But with regards to wanting to smell these flowers ... I am not sure buttercups have much of a smell of their own, at least no one we could perceive with our human noses. :D

    Actually they are tiny flowers, so this little spider must have been of the even tinier variety. Quite on the "cute"-side therefore, isn't it? ;) ;) ;)
