Just playing and the ice looked cool. Much better in person, any suggestions?

Yeah, I know the last batch that I posted this week all kinda suck. For some reason lately I just can't seem to get the great pictures, perhaps I am trying too hard or something. That or I lost the touch.

Either way it does prove one thing, most people on here won't tell me that they suck. Therefore I thank you for being the first to actually be honest.

Go out and try to shoot without inhibitions. Just shoot whatever comes to mind and just snap it. I find that when I'm really trying to get a good shot, nothing comes of it. My best shots are generally the ones that I forgot I even took.

It will always be better "in Person". Bringing the viewer to see what you saw is a whole different matter. You may be on to something. Re examine the shot, try different times of day or night, wide and close.

Were you just a little close to your subject, I wonder?
